Mark R. Jensen, D.D.S.

Dr. Mark Jensen was born and raised in St Louis Park, Minnesota. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bemidji State University in 1978. He is a 1982 graduate of the University of Minnesota's School of Dentistry. Dr Jensen completed a general practice residency at Chicago's Michael Reese Hospital in 1983. He practiced general dentistry in Chicago for several years before completing his residency in Endodontics at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Following private specialty practice in Illinois, Dr Jensen returned to Minneapolis in 1992 to open Endodontic Professionals.

Dr. Jensen is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Minnesota Association of Endodontists, and the Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Jensen enjoys Gopher football, the Twins, and spending time with his family.

Susan G. Penniston, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Penniston received her DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1982. She had previously received her baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1976. Following dental school, Dr. Penniston completed a hospital-based internship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. She practiced general dentistry in Chicago until 1992 when she began her specialty education at the University of Minnesota, receiving her Master's degree in Endodontics in 1994.

Dr. Penniston volunteers through Donated Dental Services of Minnesota. She has been with Endodontic Professionals since 1997. Her interests include gardening, bicycling, playing tennis, and spending time with her two children. Dr Penniston is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minnesota Association of Endodontists.

Dennis M. Tucker, D.D.S.

Dr. Dennis Tucker is a board certified endodontist. He received his DDS degree from Emory University in 1988. His baccalaureate degree in Animal Physiology was completed at the University of California in 1984. Following dental school, Dr. Tucker completed a hospital-based internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. After five years of general practice, he began a two-year post-doctoral residency in the specialty of Endodontics at the University of Illinois in 1993. He remained on faculty there, instructing dental students and post-doctoral residents at the College of Dentistry, in addition to his private endodontic practice, until the spring of 2000. Upon relocating to the Twin Cities, he joined Endodontic Professionals.

Dr. Tucker became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in November 2000. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Minnesota Dental Association, Minnesota Association of Endodontists, Minneapolis District Dental Society, and Northside Dental Study Club. In his spare time, Dr. Tucker enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing, and bicycling.

Thomas A. Karn, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Thomas Karn is a native of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and graduated from The University of Michigan with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in 1989. Shortly thereafter he was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy and spent the next seven years in the nuclear submarine force. Dr. Karn received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2000 and his endodontic specialty certificate/Master of Dental Science degree in 2003. Following a private practice associateship in Connecticut, he and his wife Eileen decided to relocate back to the Midwest and now reside in Plymouth with their three children.

Dr. Karn is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists and the Minnesota Association of Endodontists. He enjoys downhill skiing, a variety of outdoor activities, home renovation, and spending time with his family.

Bernard H. Hofmann, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Bernard Hofmann was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Florida in 1992 and his DMD degree from the University of Florida in 1996. Following graduation from dental school, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and served 11 years in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. During this time, he completed specialty training in Endodontics and a Master of Science degree at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland in 2003. After coming off active duty in 2007, he spent a year and a half in a private practice associateship in Jacksonville before deciding to join Endodontic Professionals in 2009.

Dr. Hofmann is an active Navy Reservist with a unit based in Minneapolis. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Minnesota Dental Association, and Minnesota Association of Endodontists. Dr. Hofmann and his wife, Akemi, enjoy spending time with their dogs, as well as running, surfing/snowboarding, and travel.

Bradford Pugh, D.D.S.

Dr. Bradford Pugh graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2003. He completed his endodontic residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He has dental licenses in both Minnesota and California.

He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minnesota Endodontic Association, San Gabriel Valley Dental Society and the California Dental Association.

Dr. Pugh has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Hobbies include music, photography, boating, fishing and snowmobiling.
